I must admit, I am feeling this eclipse energy and don’t want to push through it with my overused productivity crutch. Besides not sleeping very well, lots of my childhood stuff has surfaced lately, so I have been processing that. In fact, I just wrote a guest post which touches on some of that processing for another Substack. I will share it here as soon as it is published.
I thank you for your understanding that this post is therefore briefer than usual!
I received the below symbol in meditation on 3.23.25.
Image symbol: A steel tipped arrow shooting through the sky.
And the words:
Trusting your trajectory when it's your truth
Wisdom holding steady
Single minded focus
My interpretation (some bits are based upon the astrological energy which is present):
Many have personally been through losses and grief over the last few years. It is now time to receive the wisdom gained and move forward if you have been stuck. Some people may have been under a Pisces delusion that has recently fallen away, and have no choice but to move on for their own well-being, even if it is emotionally difficult.
Oracle Card Spread for the Week
Card 1. Past/Clarity on last week: The Drum (#15, Mystical Shaman Pocket Oracle, by Villoldo, Baron-Reid, Lobos, illustrations by DellaGrotaglia)
Drums can put you into a trance state, be used to whip people into a frenzy, or when beat softly, can mimic a heart beating. The vibrations from an instrument made of nature: wood and animal skin affect us deeply.
Was there a time last week when you felt in your entire being that you have been called to your path?
I guided a client through a healing session on Monday, using tools I had honed over the last few years (astrology, tarot, hypnosis, psychic connection), and I felt my soul saying, “Yes. This is the work you are meant to do.” And for all of us, it will be multiple gifts and skills we are meant to hone and express as only we can. We only need to listen with focus, look for signs and synchronicities, and bring our authentic self forward to allow connection with others.
From the guidebook:
“Collect your power tools and summon your courage, because it is going to be a wild and glorious journey. Allow yourself to be carried by the rhythm of what is really essential in your life.”
Card 2. Present/Help bridging last week to this week: Move Through Your Fear (from Intuitive Whispers Oracle, by Maude Hirst, with illustrations by Lori Menna).
Maybe you were able to see the total Lunar Eclipse last week. In ancient times, people didn’t know what was happening when the celestial bodies suddenly changed dramatically or disappeared entirely from the sky, and this caused fear. We know now what is happening astronomically, but isn’t it possible there are phenomena you see that cannot be readily explained?
Especially when you find something within yourself coming up and surprising you, it’s time to get curious rather than be afraid.
Human nature is to avoid fear, especially of the unknown, and to instead jump to the worst or best case scenario. This card asks us to live with the uncertainty and fear. Like the ancient people, we really have no choice. Eventually, things will become clear and we will see things differently.
We have another opportunity to work through fear with the eclipse coming on Saturday, March 29th.
From the guidebook:
“The way to move past fear is not to ignore it or pretend it isn’t there, but instead to identify it, feel it, and notice what thoughts and feelings arise. Move through it rather than around it.”
Card 3. Future/Something to look for this week: Comfrey. Completion. (#32 of The Herbal Astrology Oracle by Adriana Ayales, illustrations by Josephine Klerks).
I have been feeling this energy for some time. It is about allowing something to heal, even if it is imperfect. It could also be something coming full circle in a way you did not expect, but that offers deep healing and enables you to move onto something different.
Comfrey is so powerful at joining bone and connective tissue together, that I was taught to not use it when a bone has just been broken or set because it may set it so quickly it joins together any old way.
Comfrey is an herb of Saturn, and as such, it is no walk in the park. As with the arrow in the symbol, we are going in just one direction now. Forward. We are facing what needs to be healed so that we do not find ourselves repeating a painful lesson (or broken bone!).
From the guidebook:
“Comfrey represents wholeness, completion, and closure of a great cycle… Look closely into repeated patterns, persons, or situations that keep showing up in your life.”
I wish you a week in which you are able to give yourself some time and space to process whatever needs to be healed. I promise, the news will still be just as crazy/depressing/triggering when you tune back in.
Love, Maria Luz
This hit home for me. I am feeling the energy of moving on, following my path. And comfrey is such an interesting plant. In my messy permaculture garden, comfrey grows without abandon and I chop and drop it on garden beds to use as a light mulch (soil protection) and to nourish the soil as it decays. It's also one of the most determined plants I know; its deep tap root is hard to remove and if even a little chunk of it remains, it will grow back.
Thank you for "trust the trajectory." Much to reflect on in those 3 words.
