Dear Reader, here are the notes from my Friday YouTube report on the weekly highlights of planetary movers and what is being asked of us down here on Earth

Following last night’s Full Moon in Sagittarius, before Gemini season becomes a packed party of planets, we are being called to investigate some heavy themes. Of course, this is for our highest good!

On Thursday, Venus ingressed into Gemini and met Sedna at 0°. I spoke at length about Sedna’s significations in Gemini in last week’s podcast episode 9 (Maria Luz’s Conscious Curiosities), but in short the conjunctions with Sedna in Gemini are an exploration of disempowerment and self-empowerment and how we will write our own story.

At present, Pluto trines the Sun, Venus, Sedna, and Jupiter while Neptune sextiles the quad. Both the trine and the sextile are easeful flows of energy, while the sextile is more subtle. Pluto in Aquarius is about understanding that who we surround ourselves with in the present becomes our future, while Neptune in Pisces seeks spiritual understanding, connection, and depth. What this represents to me is not to flounce off lightly into Gemini season, but to be a bit intentional about which parties you attend and making sure you honor your personal evolution and not just short term curiosity or ease.

Asteroid Lilith opposes the Sun (and Saturday meets Venus to the exact degree) from Sag. Lilith represents the ability to constructively resolve conflict and release repressed anger. This astrological representation comes from the mythology (Mesopotamian and Hebraic) that she was Adam’s first wife, but wanting to be declared as equals, upon Adam not accepting this, she chose exile and loneliness and as punishment for not allowing to be subjugated, she was vilified as the personification of the feminine evil.

All this assembled together seems to be an ask to consider where power resides and who gets to tell whose story. I see so much in the stories of Sedna and Lilith in modern day. How people who will not comply with the patriarchy are exiled to have less. But it is sneaky, right? Because the patriarchy is so pervasive that sometimes it tricks us by throwing out a false sacrifice via cancel culture and powerful men who get a fresh start vs. regular people who get truly exiled.

Also on Saturday, Jupiter makes an exact conjunction to Sedna at 0° Gemini and remains there until Wednesday. It is like Jupiter is being held in conversation before going off to party. I see themes of being intentional about where the quick and varied Gemini energy will take you. Yes, of course, enjoy life, but if you are going to connect with new people, subjects, or places, perhaps consider how they align with your core beliefs and add to your wisdom base.

Also on Wednesday, Mars makes an exact conjunction with asteroid Chiron in Aries, symbolizing a fire being lit to actively work on healing, especially where you may have been avoiding it for fear of becoming uncomfortable.

So, themes of getting clear on all of your issues and where you want to transform instead of simply allowing our natural resistance to change continue.
