Astro Energy Report: Time is running out on getting our spiritual house in order
9.5.24
Hello reader! Here is the companion analysis to my weekly Astro Energy Report on YouTube.
Energy drivers for this week:
Retrograde and late degree planet positions: Uranus, Neptune, Pluto
Lunar eclipse coming 9.17 in Pisces, so we are in the shadow.
Picking up where we left off last week, when I introduced one of three themes in the current astrology.
Theme 2: The overarching theme of the culmination of cycles of spiritual consciousness.
I left you with the Sabian Symbol for the New Moon last week. Let’s look at the Sabian symbols for the prominent planetary movers last week, as their energies continue into this week and beyond. (I call special attention to the italicized phrases due to their relevance to the theme):
Mercury stations direct: “A carrier pigeon fulfilling its mission.
The return of the soul-energies to the central Self after a significant experience. Adventuring. Practical enlightenment.”
Venus entering Libra: “A butterfly preserved and made perfect with a dart through it.
The symbolical death that is initiation into spiritual reality and wisdom. Sudden awakening. Craving for inner light.”
Pluto entering Capricorn: “Directors of a large firm meet in secret conference.
Activity of inner formative elements of real personality. Massing of soul-energies in an emergency. Spiritual leadership.”
You can see the echoes to our discussion last week about examining what we have allowed to manifest under our watch. It appears to me that we are going to be asked to do some soul searching about who we model our lives after, or who we allow to run them because we were spiritually asleep. Then to call on our inner leader, and empower ourselves.
Even Neptune falls into this theme because it is moving into Aries in six months, which is essentially a reset for a spiritual cycle around the zodiac from Aries to Pisces over the course of 164 years.
Also remember, eclipses are often markers of key turning points, and the one on 9.17 in Pisces especially, as the nodes of the moon will change signs (completion of yet another cycle) in January.
Theme 3: Getting our spiritual house in order, as emphasized by Neptune at the end of Pisces.
Neptune has been in Pisces since 2011 and will enter Aries in March 2025. As planets move through Virgo, this is the last time in our lifetime we see this axis play out with Neptune in the sign it rules (in modern astrology).
There is also that lunar eclipse in Pisces, coming on 9.17, falling between Saturn and Neptune at 25°, the first one on this axis since 2016. You may have had a preview at the New Moon, as it fell on this axis. So, think back to Monday and what it brought up in you. Remember, the Moon represents feelings, and being together with the Sun may have highlighted any lack of alignment between thought, action, and emotion.
The Sabian symbol almost couldn’t fit more perfectly:
“A new moon reveals that it's time for people to go ahead with their different projects.
Polyphony of values as man lives at various levels of consciousness. Inner call to realization. Transmutation of meaning.”
Virgo and Pisces offer us hints at how exactly to get our spiritual house in order because what these signs share is the concept of devotion and purification. They just perform these activities in vastly different ways. They also share the more undesirable tendencies toward fanaticism and martyrdom. So, there’s that! If you want to explore these themes more personally, look to the specific placements of these points, planets, and signs in your birth chart.
