I listened to this twice just to begin to soak in the affirmation. YES, I am feeling the undercurrents and the very literal movement of transformation happening. I've been journaling about how I feel like this revolution will be a quiet one, an amalgamation of so many people showing up in subtle daily ways that no one would identify as overtly revolutionary and yet, it is. It doesn't make sense from the point of view of the long shadow of History. Revolutions are noisy, riotous affairs, leaving damage and destruction in their wakes, right? But that still, small voice inside me keeps saying, "Not this time. Light your candle, do your work, keep showing up, and The Change will complete itself through you."
You put this so eloquently, Leenie. I was a 52 year old mother of 3, getting sober from alcohol and healing my mental health when I started awakening. I held the knowing that I was to be part of a much larger movement, yet I questioned, even as I found other equally unlikely spiritual warriors - why us, those who do not hold the traditional power?
I believe we are beginning to see the answer. So, yes, continue to burn your candle 🕯️

I love the way you work with this planet, Maria--thank you for pulling it all together. I think of spiritual awakening in the broadest sense of awakening awareness--to all levels of our existence, material, mental, spiritual. It seems to me a time of huge opportunity for growth and change, and an equally immense possibility of being overtaken by shadow.
